Dhaka Road Runners Run Fest was held at Hatirjheel in the capital. About one and a half thousand runners participated in the event organized by the Run Center on Friday.
Also around three hundred volunteers of the Centre, members of Dhaka Road Runners and a large number of visitors enjoyed the event.
Md. Oli Ullah came first in the 7.5 km category (male) and Hamida Akhtar came first in the female category.
Elahi Sardar and Sabrina Akhtar Swarna stood first in the 15 km male and female categories respectively
Md Asif Biswas and Sadia Sawlin Sigma stood first in the men’s and women’s categories in the 21.1 km i.e. half marathon respectively.
The event was sponsored by BEN TECH CHEMICAL Unilever, The Acme Laboratories, NCC Bank, NDE.
This run fest started from 5:30 am and ended around 9:30 am. The entire Hatirjheel becomes festive due to the run fest. The run fest ended in a joyful atmosphere.
