On April 22, 2024, there was a fired at a large chemical factory located in Moo4, Ban Nong Phawa, Tambon Bang but, Rayong Province.
The surrounding communities were affected by smoke and chemicals. BEN TECH CHEMICAL Plant 2 donated 3M masks capable of containing chemicals and also donated drinking water to help the affected residents and bedridden patients at the temporary evacuation center at Wat Ban Khai, Rayong Province.
