BEN TECH team recently had the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant and joyous celebrations of Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year festival! Held on April 10, 2026, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, the event was a delightful explosion of culture, tradition, and pure fun.
Songkran, known for its symbolic water splashing, marks the beginning of the traditional Thai solar new year and is a time for renewal, cleansing, and good fortune. While we might be thousands of miles away from Thailand, the spirit of Songkran was alive and thriving right here in Dhaka, thanks to the wonderful efforts of the Royal Thai Embassy.
Our team eagerly participated in the various activities planned throughout the day, which ran from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and the air filled with laughter and the cheerful sounds of splashing water.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka for organizing such a vibrant and memorable event. It truly brought the spirit of Songkran to life in Bangladesh.
